Dental Implants
If you have lost a tooth, or have badly-fractured teeth that need to be
fully replaced, Dental Implants can restore your dentition.
Dental Implants are "anchors" that placed in the bone to
restore missing teeth. Unlike dentures or partials, which can "float
around", implants involve surgically placing a titanium screw into
the bone, therefore allowing a more permanent stabile restoration. With
today's modern technology, there is usually little discomfort associated
with this procedure.
The advantages of Dental Implants are:
- Any remaining natural teeth are not disturbed in this process
- Crowns or dentures can be placed over the implants, providing
stability for chewing
- Implants preserve the remaining bone
